SCORECARD 2018, the 4th edition of the flagship event on sports was held on 26-27 July in New Delhi. Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State (I/C) for Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Broadcasting, Government of India graced the summit as the Chief Guest and furthered shaping the sports development agenda.

• Day 1 of the summit witnessed many stellar Speakers discussing the importance of sports education in schools, building sports culture within the country as well as creating international best practices, and sharing the sports development initiatives in their states and home grounds.
• Day 2 of the summit talked over utilizing CSR Funding to encourage Grassroots Sports. The session took prominence with discussions reflecting around the steps taken by the Private sector to channelizing funds for grassroots sports. Case studies and success stories of particular significance on sports development through CSR funding were also highlighted during the proceedings of the day. The discussions examined some crucial facets of corporate funding preference towards health and education over sports and emerged with some key learnings for making CSR funds in sports to deliver desired benefits.
